"Safer" cleaning alternatives are available!

Mansfield Paper Company is interested in working with schools and other institutions to create healthier environments. Cleaning products commonly used in schools and other institutions contain toxic chemicals. Yet many "safer" alternatives are available and schools across the country as well as other institutions are beginning to adopt "green cleaning programs". By adopting a green cleaning program you can reduce exposure to janitorial staff and students.

The following common cleaners are most likely currently being used in many schools and institutions:

Windex - Blue 2-Butoxyethanol Absorbed through the skin and can cause blood changes. EPA environmental hazard.
Windex Powderized Formula Ammonium Hydroxide A poison and severe irritant to mouth and throat when large amounts are swallowed. Creates toxic gas when mixed with chlorine bleach.
Clorox Bleach Sodium Hypochlorite Corrosive to eyes and skin, respiratory irritant, creates toxic gas when mixed with other common cleaning ingredients.
Comet Institutional Sodium Carbonate Toxic. Harmful if mist or aerosol inhaled. Irritating to the eyes and the respiratory tract. Corrosive to metals.

H2Orange2 Concentrate
